Current situation and trend of domestic industry development domestic supply capacity and output (regional distribution) current situation of China's NdFeB permanent magnet production enterprises, there are about 250 rare earth permanent magnet production enterprises in China (including about 20 bonded NdFeB), more than 100 production enterprises have an annual production capacity of more than 100 tons, and more than 10 enterprises have an annual production capacity of more than 1000 tons.
In 2007, China's total output of NdFeB was nearly 50000 tons, accounting for about 80% of the world's total output, and China's total output of bonded NdFeB was about 3500 tons, accounting for about 50% of the world's total output.
Among the nearly 250 domestic NdFeB production enterprises, more than 10 listed enterprises are involved, such as: Zhongke Sanhuan, Taiyuan corundum, yingluohua, dongci group, Fenghua high tech, Antai Technology (amorphous alloy soft magnetic and NdFeB permanent magnetic materials), Shougang, WISCO, rare earth high tech, shenghuabaike, Jinbin development, Huaguang ceramics, etc. China is a big country of rare earth resources, but its price fluctuates greatly in recent years. Its main suppliers are Baotou, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Shandong, Hunan, Henan, Guangdong, Shanxi and other provinces and cities. At present, the price of praseodymium and neodymium is about 150000 yuan / ton, the price of metal neodymium is about 190000 yuan / ton, and the price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide is about 100000 yuan / ton. The production of fast quenching magnetic powder MQ for bonding neodymium, iron and boron is about 220-300 yuan / kg, and the domestic fast quenching magnetic powder is about 120-180 yuan / kg. The main production units include Zhejiang chaorike, No.9 Electronic Institute, Shenyang new oak, Sichuan Huiling, etc. Although bonded NdFeB magnets are of the same age as sintered magnets, the commercialization of bonded NdFeB magnets lags behind sintered magnets for at least five or six years, mainly due to the lag in the commercialization of MQ magnetic powder.
The magnetic energy product of bonded magnet is also increased from 88 kg / m3 (11 mgoe) of isotropic pressed magnet in 1987 to the world advanced level of 30-45 mgoe of anisotropic pressed magnet, and the (BH) max of injected SmFeN is up to
18MGOe. Most of the bonded magnets in China are of the same sex, and the highest performance is about 16 mgoe.
At present, there are only a few domestic manufacturers of bonded NdFeB magnets. Sichuan Yinhe magnet Stock Co., Ltd. has the largest scale in China, and its products are mainly sold to Japan, with its output and output value accounting for more than 60% of the domestic market. Shanghai Epson (joint venture) Co., Ltd. and Taiwan Qiaozhi Electronics Co., Ltd. have invested in the establishment of a new factory in Jiaxing, with the output also exceeding 30 tons / month. These enterprises mainly adopt MQ fast quenching magnetic powder, which is processed into bonded magnet and then exported to foreign countries and Taiwan and Hong Kong of China. Because of the high price of MQ powder, the domestic enterprises of bonded iron, iron and boron permanent magnet can hardly bear the burden of raw material cost
In 2007, it was announced to withdraw from the rare earth bonded magnet industry. At the beginning of 2008, Dayou electronics in Ningbo was forced to follow Jinbin's lead. As MQI magnetic powder patent will expire in October this year, we have reason to expect that the popularization of domestic powder will promote the rapid development of domestic bonded NdFeB industry. China's neodymium iron and boron industry has been expanding its share in the international market by virtue of its resources and cost advantages, becoming the industrial center of the world's neodymium iron and boron magnets. It is the country with the fastest growth in the world's production and market of neodymium iron and boron magnets, with an annual growth rate of more than 20% and production ranking first in the world, accounting for more than 80% of the world's total.
It is estimated that the output will exceed 60000 tons in 2008; the output of bonded NdFeB is expected to exceed 3600 tons in 2008. It is predicted that in the next 20-30 years, there will be no magnet with better performance than NdFeB to replace it. In the next 3-5 years, the composite growth rate of NdFeB will also remain at about 20%. It is predicted that by 2010, the global output of sintered NdFeB magnets will exceed 100000 tons and that of China will exceed 80000 tons; for magnetic materials, due to the invalidation of MQ magnetic powder patent, the global output of bonded NdFeB magnets will exceed 10000 tons and that of China will exceed 6000 tons.
